Jewels & Silks: Artisans' Trunk Show

Just in time for Mother's Day, graduations, and spring weddings: We are delighted to host two fabulous local designers for a trunk show on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Gloria Olazable of Heliconia Jewelry  returns to Art.i.fact for a second time. A highly-trained jeweler with an organic sensibility and an eye for stunning gemstones, Gloria's pieces are distinctive. She spent five years learning traditional silversmithing under a master jeweler in Lima, Peru. When Gloria arrived in the U.S., she studied jewelry design and fabrication with Donald Dietz at the renowned Boca Raton Museum in Florida. Gloria is committed to using reclaimed and recycled sterling silver and gold in all of her jewelry. HarHari Whittemore creates divine hand-dyed silk scarves and other wearable art. Harhari Whittemore of Soulful Silks has been a silk artist since 1983. Her hand-dyed scarves and ponchos lend elegance to everyday outfits and elevate special occasion pieces to the sublime.
