“The Turquoise Lady” Reception & Book Signing Kicks off 18th Annual Baca Street Arts Tour

Meet June Rosenthal: trailblazer, fashionista, world travel, and nonagenarian. Trailblazer. Entrepreneur. World traveler. Community leader. Southwestern fashionista. June Rosenthall is all these things – and by the way, she’s 94 and still going strong!  Meet June on Friday, Nov. 30, from 4 – 7 p.m. for an art opening and book signing celebrating her new book, The Turquoise Lady: My Loves, Fashions, and Fortunes, a delightful and unique memoir featuring illustrations by Santa Fe artist Kathy Hirshon. Kathy also will be on hand to sign books and chat about her decades-long friendship with June. The pair met in Connecticut, where June ran an outrageously successful real estate business. In her book, June has written sweet vignettes that reflect a full and generous life; her stories are sure to inspire her readers’ own trips down memory lane. The reception coincides with the opening night of the 18th Annual Baca Street Arts Tour, which features more than a dozen local artists at locations throughout the Baca neighborhood. In addition to art and festivities, The S’more Pit will be on hand Friday evening with a pit fire and a selection of tasty, gooey treats. As part of the Friday festivities, Art.i.fact will host Coryelle Kramer, an intuitive, empath, animal communicator, medium and seer. Coryelle can help in discovering your spirit guides, past lives, and even akashic records for your life’s purpose. Uplifting and positive, Coryelle will uncover the answers to your questions utilizing tarot and oracle cards. The tour dates for the Baca Street Arts Tour are Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Art.i.fact will be open until 6 p.m., as always) and Sunday, Dec. 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
