"Commercial Appeal:" A Solo Exhibition by Carmen Selam

Carmen Selam is a multi-disciplinary artist who works in printmaking, painting, and clay. Additionally, she is a traditional tribal artist, weaver, and bead worker. "My work explores the relationships between living on and off of the reservation and how these relations influence my way of life," Carmen says. "I tend to use iconography and popular culture as a tool to delve deeper into the untold indigenous history of America. My art is a reflection of living in contemporary society as a Yakama-Comanche woman." Presented by Curate @ the Art.i.factory.

A Valentine(ish) Show Curate Santa Fe is taking over the ART.i.factory! Niomi Fawn's first exhibition in the space is a celebration of love, like, and everything in between.
