"Big Ideas," an Exhibition Featuring Small Works, Opens Nov. 19

Big ideas often arrive in small packages. In fact, this is the idea behind the ART.i.factory art space, located inside the Art.i.fact consignment boutique. To mark the ART.i.factory’s second anniversary, “Big Ideas,” a small works show, opens on Saturday, Nov. 19. The artists' reception is from 4 to 7 p.m.
The show includes a broad array of artwork - from traditional to conceptual, mixed media to sculptures, paintings to drawings, and works on wood to works on paper. We’ve invited more than 25 artists to exhibit their best small works. Some have exhibited in the ART.i.factory before, and others are new to the space. All hail from New Mexico. They include Susan Begy, Meredith Britt, Kirstiann Bushman, Todd Christensen, Luke Dorman, Kyle Farrell, M. Gold, Michael Gullberg, Maria Gullberg, Hans Harland-Hue, Tim Jag, Amy Johnson, Katy Kidd, Patti Levey, Amber MacLean, Duffy Petersen, Alicia Piller, Brooke Remmert, Frank Remmert, Katherine Rita, Jeffrey Schweitzer, Laura Stanziola, Janet Stein Romero, Andrea Vargas, and Mark Westberg. All work shown in the exhibition is 12” x 12” or smaller and priced under $500. If there are art enthusiasts on your Christmas list, you will want to stop in to see this show. The exhibition will run through Jan. 28, 2017.
